My name is Paul Serianni. I was born in 1969 and
grew up in Utica, NY. I went to Utica public schools and always had a
passion for art, along with working with my hands. I scored A's
throughout my school years in Art, and won several key awards that
gave me the confidence I needed to attend Mohawk Valley Community
College. I took Advertising, Design, and Production and again, scored
well, with a 3.26 GPA for 4 semesters, receiving an AAS. I was
recognized on the President's List 2 of 4 semesters.

Experience
During my second year, I pursued a part-time job
for a wonderful small business by the name of Valley Signs. Leeland
Wratten taught me many of the "in's & out's" of the business. I thank
Lee for everything he has taught me.

I appreciated Valley Signs and had an extreme
passion for sign-making, but I started a family by marrying my
beautiful wife, Karin. We soon had our first daughter, Hallie. What a
great gift. I really needed to better my financial status and pursued
a corporate business that could offer a competitive salary, plus
benefits. This also helped me learn about how to run a business. |
Family
Karin and I decided to grow our family and 3
years after Hallie, we had our second daughter, Lindsay. We are
complete. |
Passion for sign-making
In 2004, I decided to make a go of the
business full-time. We conduct business by having Karin receive calls
from customers and providing information to them, along with myself
speaking to, emailing, and visiting customers routinely. I design,
fabricate, and deliver to our customers Monday thru Saturday. |
